On or about Sunday, February 27th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between two pickup trucks left a 63-year-old man dead. Officials from the DPS said the accident was reported along Highway 365 in Port Arthur, Texas.
Investigators from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 63-year-old Bruce Wayne Jennings was killed when the pickup truck he was driving and another pickup truck collided under unspecified conditions. Emergency responders pronounced Jennings dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. The driver of the pickup truck was treated for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Port Arthur is about 89 miles east of Houston.
Police are still working to pin down the cause of the accident.
