Details:

Bryan James Brauer was killed in a commercial truck accident on the 5300 block of Highway 75, near Sioux City, IA. Officers from the Sioux City Police Department report the crash occurred around 8:39 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

Brauer was driving a Dodge pickup towing a trailer while travelling south on 75, when a Jeep Commander pulled out in front of him. His pickup struck the side of the Jeep before crashing into the ditch and overturning. The trailer then struck a third vehicle which was stopped at the intersection.

Brauer was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the Jeep was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. They were charged with to obey a stop sign for their role in the accident.
