On or about Saturday, December 11th, 2021, around 1:04 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle claimed the life of a 32-year-old Gulfport, Mississippi woman and a 22-year-old Fort Worth, Texas woman. Troopers from the ASP said the accident occurred on Interstate 30 just outside Malvern in Hot Spring County, Arkansas.

Officials from the Arkansas State Police said 32-year-old Angenatte Dixon and 22-year-old Bryanna Collie were killed when the car they were in allegedly spun off the side of Interstate 30 and slammed into a tractor-trailer that was parked at a rest stop a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Dixon and Collie dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer, who police did not identify, was unhurt in the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance south of Malvern, which is located about 46 miles southwest of downtown Little Rock.

Officials are still investigating the accident.
