Details:
On or about Thursday, May 12th, 2022, around 7:00 in the evening, a single-vehicle car accident left a 20-year-old man dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 2957 in McLennan County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas DPS said 20-year-old Cannon Rush was killed when the passenger vehicle he was driving allegedly veered off the side of FM 2957 and rolled a short distance off the pavement. Rush was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he suffered when he was ejected from the vehicle in the crash. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from FM 2491.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
