On or about Monday, March 29th, 2021, around 11:03 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler claimed the life of a 67-year-old Brimson man. Troopers from the MSP said the accident happened along County Highway 2 just outside Two Harbors in Lake County, Minnesota.
Investigators said 67-year-old Carl Schuller was killed when his pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Schuller was pronounced dead of his injuries a short time after emergency responders arrived at the scene. Police did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary report.
The scene of the accident is a short distance from the Two Harbors city limits, which is about 27 miles northeast of Duluth, according to Google Maps.
