Details:
On or about Sunday, February 27th, 2022, around 8:00 in the morning, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left a 39-year-old man dead and a 44-year-old man dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 20 in Abilene, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 39-yer-old Carlos Armando Reyes Hurtado and 44-year-old Mario Alberto Carlon Solis were killed when the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and slammed into a bridge pillar. Paramedics pronounced Hurtado and Solis dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 cuts east and west through Abilene.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
