Carlos Hernandez-Caro was killed after a rear-end collision with a semi-truck near the intersection of 18th and Iowa Avenues in Marshalltown, IA. Marshalltown Police responded to the accident on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, and transported the 28-year-old Hernandez-Caro to a local hospital. He was later transferred to a Des Moines, IA, hospital, but would succumb to his injures and pass away on Monday, February 10, 2025. Local authorities, along with Iowa State Patrol are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
