On or about Friday, July 9th, 2021, around 12:45 in the morning, a hit-and-run with an MTA bus claimed the life of a 67-year-old woman. Officials from the NYPD said the accident was reported at the intersection of 70th Street and Eliot Avenue in Queens, New York.

Law enforcement spokespeople said 67-year-old Carolina Connors was killed when she was hit by a car and an MTA bus as she was walking along or trying to cross the roadway at the intersection of 70th Street and Eliot Avenue. Both the car and the MTA bus fled the scene after striking Connors. Paramedics pronounced Connors dead of her injuries after the accident.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of 70th Street and Eliot Avenue is situated in the Middle Village part of Queens.

Police are still investigating the accidnet.
