On or about Thursday, November 4th, 2021, around 5:40 in the morning, a serious accident between a Jeep and a tractor-trailer left an 81-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported along U.S. Highway 90 East in Seguin, Texas.
Police said 81-year-old Carrie Walker was killed when the Jeep she was driving allegedly struck a tractor-trailer that had blocked the lanes of traffic on Highway 90 East when the truck attempted a U-turn and got stuck. Emergency responders rushed Walker to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival. Officials did not mention any other injuries.
According to Google Maps, Highway 90 winds east and west into Seguin, which is about 36 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio.
