On or about Saturday, February 6th, 2021, around 4:56 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a disabled vehicle left a 30-year-old woman dead. Representatives from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 65 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Investigators said 30-year-old Cierra Brown was killed when her disabled vehicle was allegedly struck from behind by a tractor-trailer. Authorities said Brown’s vehicle was broken down in the right lane at the time of the accident. Brown died of her injuries at the scene of the crash. Officials identified 44-year-old Christopher Zatezalo as the driver of the tractor-trailer.

Google Maps shows Interstate 65 is six lanes, with a concrete barrier dividing north and southbound traffic.

Kentucky State Police and Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the accident.
