Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, around 6:07 in the morning, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent another person to the hospital. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 82 in Strong, Arkansas.
Investigators from the Arkansas State Police said 20-year-old Chandler Knight was killed when the Toyota Avalon he was driving allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer driven by 56-year-old Glenn Heard. Paramedics pronounced Knight dead a short time after the accident, while Heard was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the collision.
According to Google Maps, Strong is about 132 miles south of downtown Little Rock.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
