On or about Friday, May 27th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 44-year-old man dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported on FM 866 in Ector County, Texas.
Law enforcement officials said 44-year-old Charles Grisham was killed when the vehicle he was driving allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer on FM 866. Emergency responders pronounced Grisham dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the crash in their initial statement.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 2020.
Police are still investigating the crash.
