On or about Thursday, March 17th, 2022, around 5:45 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a van and a tractor-trailer left two individuals injuries. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 290 just outside Brenham, Texas.
Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said 27-year-old Charles Jordan and 64-year-old Michael McCain were injured when the tractor-trailer McCain was driving allegedly collided with Jordan’s van as Jordan was turning along Highway 290. Paramedics transported Jordan and McCain to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Brenham is situated about 76 miles northwest of Houston.
