On or about Saturday, February 12th, 2022, around 11:02 at night, a single-vehicle car accident claimed the life of a 42-year-old man. Law enforcement sources said the accident was reported along Elysian Fields Avenue in Marshall, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 42-year-old Charmaine Deshun Morris was killed when the car he was in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into a number of trees a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics pronounced Morris dead of his injuries after the collision.
According to Google Maps, Marshall is about 151 miles east of Dallas.
