Details:
Chassity Cowgill, Wyatt Humphrey and Cheryl Kubiak were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision along State Highway 90 near Bedias, TX. Officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety report the crash took place around 11:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025.
A 2005 Dodge Ram was travelling north when it attempted to pass another vehicle. It collided head-on with the southbound Altima being driven by Kubiak before striking a third vehicle. Kubiak, as well as Cowgill and Humphrey, were pronounced dead at the scene.
An 18-year-old passenger in the Nissan was seriously injured, as well as the driver of the Dodge. DPS is investigating the accident, and has confirmed criminal charges are pending.
