Details:
On or about Monday, April 25th, 2022, around 11:30 at night, a major single-vehicle car accident left a 33-year-old woman dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Woodrow Road in Lubbock, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 33-year-old Chelsey Kristine Cook was killed when the Hyundai Palisade she was driving allegedly drove off the side of the road and crashed through a fence before it slammed into a nearby tree. Paramedics pronounced Cook dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is a short distance from the intersection with Frankford Avenue.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
