On or about Monday, October 5th, 2020, a collision between a tractor-trailer and a school bus resulted in an injured child. The accident was reported on Charity Road in Duplin County, North Carolina.
A school representative has said that the school bus was transporting children home from Rose Hill Elementary School when it was allegedly struck from behind by a semi on Charity Road near Hill Lane, as it was slowing to a stop. Paramedics transported one child from the bus to Vidant Duplin Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
