Details:

On or about Friday, April 22nd, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a skid steer earth mover and a pedestrian left a child dead. Local law enforcement representatives said accident was reported at the Lovely RV Park in Hunt County, Texas.

Authorities from the Texas DPS said a 2-year-old child was killed when they were allegedly run over by a skid steer earth mover at the Lovely RV Park. Emergency responders pronounced the child dead of their injuries after the accident, but it is not currently clear if they died at the scene or after they were rushed to a nearby hospital.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from West Tawakoni.

Officials are still working to pin down exactly what happened in the accident.
