One child was injured in a four vehicle collision involving a van and a school bus on Interstate 70, near the State Route 144 ramp, in Frederick County, MD. The Maryland State Police report the accident happened around 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, when a van was attempting to stop for a red light. The van collided with a car and a school bus, which had no students on board at the time. The injured child, a passenger in the van, was airlifted to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center with undisclosed injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
