Details:

Chiquita Rogers was killed after her car was struck by two tractor-trailers on Greenwell Springs Road at Alphonse Forbes Road east of Greenwell Springs, LA. Troopers from the Louisiana State Police said the accident took place on the afternoon of Monday, April 14, 2025.

Rogers was driving north along Greenwell when she slowed to make a left turn onto Alphonse Forbes. A tractor-trailer also travelling north then rear-ended her vehicle, sending it into the path of a southbound tractor-trailer. Neither tractor-trailer driver was seriously injured, and Rogers would later be pronounced dead. Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
