On or about Thursday, March 24th, 2022. a serious single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one person injured. Troopers from the LSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in Rayne, Louisiana.
Officials said from the Louisiana State Police said Christopher Thibodeaux was injured when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly sustained a mechanical failure and drove off the side of Interstate 10 and crashed off an overpass. Emergency responders treated Thibodeaux for unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 10 cuts east and west through Rayne.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
