On or about Thursday, September 30th, 2021, an accident between a log truck and a pickup truck left a 21-year-old man from Lucedale dead. Investigators from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 26 in George County, Mississippi.
Investigators said 21-year-old Cody Allen Rogers was killed when a pickup truck and a log truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 26. After the initial collision, the pickup truck veered off the side of the roadway and flipped. Paramedics pronounced Rogers dead of his injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, George County is situated about 60 miles northeast of Biloxi.
