Details:
On or about Monday, June 21st, 2021, around 9:25 in the morning, an accident between a farm tractor and a pedestrian claimed the life of a 22-year-old Oklahoma man. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Highway 58 just outside Guion in Izard County, Arkansas.
Police said 22-year-old Cody Killingsworth was killed when he was allegedly struck by a farm tractor while he was walking along the roadway or standing near the tractor. Paramedics pronounced Killingsworth dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 58 runs east and west through Izard County, which is situated about 125 miles northwest of Little Rock.
Police are still working to pin down the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
