Details:
On or about Sunday, January 16th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a serious single-vehicle accident left a 58-year-old Texarkana woman dead and sent three juveniles to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 30 in Bowie County, Texas
Texas DPS officials said 58-year-old Connie Sparrow was killed and three young boys were injured when the passenger vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of I-30 and crashed into a barrier a short distance off the roadway. Sparrow and the three boys were rushed to a nearby hospital where Sparrow succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 30 winds east and west through Bowie County, which is roughly 153 miles northeast of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating.
