On or about March 6th, 2022, around 10:40 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles sent two individuals to the hospital. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Broadway Street and Wildcat Way in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Representatives from the Texas DPS said 33-year-old Corrine Sarah Koepsell-Roth and an as-of-yet unidentified passenger were injured when the Toyota Corolla they were in was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that ran a red light at the intersection of Wildcat Way and Broadway Street. After the initial collision, the Toyota was pushed into a nearby Ford Edge. Paramedics transported Koepsell-Roth and her passenger to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Officials recommended a citation for the truck driver running the red light in connection with the accident.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
