On or about Friday, June 10th, 2022, around 9:33 at night, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle left one person dead and injured another. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported at the intersection of West Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Stringer Street in Killeen, Texas.
Officers from the Killeen Police Department said 21-year-old Coy Caleb Morris was killed and his passenger was injured when the motorcycle they were on was allegedly hit by a vehicle that failed to yield at the intersection of West Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Stringer Street. Emergency responders rushed Morris and his passenger to the hospital where Morris succumbed to his injuries several days after his arrival.
Police arrested the driver of the passenger vehicle for Driving While Intoxicated after the collision.
