Details:
On or about Saturday, October 9th, 2021, around 2:37 in the morning, an accident between a Chevrolet Impala and a Ford Mustang sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas.
Police said 21-year-olc Cristian Josue Ajpacaja and Abraham Kyungu were injured when the Impala Ajpacaja was driving allegedly lost control and slammed into impact barrels on the side of the road. After the collision with the barrels the Imapla spun into a nearby Ford Mustang driven by Abraham Kyungu, who was pushed off the road and into a nearby barrier. Ajpacaja and Kyungu sustained unspecified injuries in the accident.
Authorities have indicated they believe Ajpacaja was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
Police are still investigating.
