On or about Friday, June 24th, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle car accident left a 28-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman dead. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the Crosstown Expressway in Nueces County, Texas.
Officials from the area said 28-year-old Crystal Piñeda and 18-year-old Ariana Dewey were killed when teo vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances along the Crosstown Expressway. Paramedics pronounced Pineda dead of her injuries after the accident, while Dewey was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Golihar Road.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
