On or about Saturday, June 12th, 2021, around 4:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a motorcycle and a pickup truck left a 21-year-old man dead. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported in the 12200 block of State Highway 195 in Killeen, Texas.
Law enforcement sources said 21-year-old Cullen McKay Beeson was killed when his motorcycle was allegedly hit by a heavy-duty pickup truck that is believed to have proceeded into an intersection after a stop when it struck Beeson’s motorcycle. Beeson was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident a short time after emergency responders responded to the crash. Police did not mention any other injuries.
According to Google Maps, the 12200 block of State Highway 195 is a short distance south of downtown Killeen, which is about 67 miles north of Austin.
Texas DPS and local officials assisted at the scene of the accident.
