On or about Thursday, April 14th, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a cyclist left one individual dead. Local law enforcement personnel said the accident was reported at the intersection of Manchester Avenue and Tamm Avenue in St. Louis, , Missouri.
Officers from the SLPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a box truck while they were riding their bike at Tamm and Manchester. Paramedics pronounced the cyclist dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Officials did not specify if the victim died at the scene or if they were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance west of downtown St. Louis.
