On or about Monday, September 13th, 2021, around 11:45 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and a car claimed the life of a 61-year-old woman. Deputies from the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Department said the accident occurred at the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and 82nd Avenue in Doral, Florida.
Authorities from the area said 61-year-old Dalal Moukhallaleh was killed when a dump truck allegedly rolled onto her car when it swerved to avoid another collision. Emergency responders pronounced Moukhallaleh dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident. Police identified the driver of the dump truck as Jean Blanco, who did not report injuries after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 15 miles west of downtown Miami.
Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
