Dale McLean Killed in Flatbed Truck Accident on Interstate 90 in Kittitas County

On or about Monday, November 15th, 2021, around 7:00 in the evening, a serious accident between a car and a flatbed truck left one man dead. Troopers from the WSP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 90 just outside Vantage in Kittitas County, Washington.

Local law enforcement officials said one 57-year-old Dale McLean was killed when the car he was driving allegedly struck the back of a flatbed truck driven by Jacob Anderson. Emergency responders pronounced McLean dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Jacob Anderson and his passenger in the flatbed truck, Donald Allen were uninjured in the collision.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 90 runs east and west just north of Vantage, which is about 135 miles southeast of downtown Seattle.

Washington State Patrol assisted at the scene of the accident.
