Details:
On or about Saturday, March 19th, 2022, a major two vehicle accident during an alleged police pursuit left three people dead and sent two others to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 60 just outside Friona in Parmer County, Texas.
Authorities from the area said 21-year-old Damian Garcia and his two teenage passengers were killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly crashed into a Jeep Wrangler while running from a traffic stop. Paramedics rushed Garcia to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Both teenage passengers in Garcia’s vehicle were pronounced dead a short time after the accident. The driver and passenger in the Jeep Wrangler were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Friona.
