On or about Saturday, September 4th, 2021, around 4:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a FedEx delivery truck and a motorcycle claimed the life of a 44-year-old man. Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Winwood Street in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Officers from the LVPD said 44-year-old Daniel Holcomb was killed when the motorcycle he was driving was allegedly struck by a FedEx truck at the intersection of Winwood Street and Lake Mead Boulevard.. Emergency responders rushed Holcomb to University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Authorities did not mention any other injuries in their initial report on the accident.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Winwood Street is situated on the northwest side of Las Vegas.

Authorities are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
