Details:
On or about Saturday, May 21st, 2022, around 10:50 at night, a major single-vehicle motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 56-year-old man dead. Representatives from the DPS said the accident was reported along North Raguet Street in Lufkin, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 56-year-old Daniel Lee Jensen was killed when the motorcycle he was driving allegedly veered off the side of North Raguet Street and crashed into a gas pump a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Jensen dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, North Raguet Street cuts north and south into Lufkin.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
