On or about Thursday, May 5th,, 2022, a serious two-vehicle accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle sent a 72-year-old man to the hospital. Representatives from local law enforcement agencies said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of North 3rd Street and Willis Street in Abilene, Texas.

Officials said 72-year-old Daniel Randolph was killed when the motorcycle he was riding was allegedly hit by a turning vehicle at North 3rd and Willis Street. Paramedics rushed Randolph to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Police did not mention any other injuries in their statement on the accident.
