On or about Thursday, October 15th, 2021, a serious single-vehicle tractor-trailer rollover accident claimed the life of a 45-year-old man from Texas City, Texas. Troopers from the OHP said the accident was reported along Highway 259 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma.

Deputies from the LeFlore County Sheriff’s Department said 47-year-old Darreck Foreman was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly veered off the side of Highway 259 and tipped to one side. Foreman was pronounced dead of his injuries a short time after emergency responders arrived at the scene. Officials did not mention any other vehicles or injuries in their initial statement on the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance southeast of Muse, which is about 198 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.

Police are still investigating.
