Details:
On or about Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a car and a work van claimed the life of a 53-year-old man. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Loop 1604 near Priest Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said 53-year-old Daryl Allen Marino was killed when a work van allegedly veered over the center line and struck his vehicle. Paramedics rushed Marino to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on a bridge spanning the San Antonio River on the southeast side of Bexar County.
Police are still investigating.
