On or about Saturday, October 24th, 2020, around 7:42 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car claimed the life of a 70-year-old man. Officials said the accident happened on Route 15 in Gregg Township, Pennsylvania.
State Police said that 70-year-old Dave W. Hester was killed when the car he was in was allegedly crossed from the northbound lanes into the path of a southbound tractor-trailer. Hester was pronounced dead of his injuries after the crash.
Authorities identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as 57-year-old Howard Legg, who was unhurt in the accident.
Google Streetview shows that Route 15 is two lanes, with a shared turn lane dividing north and southbound traffic. Gregg is situated about 82 miles north of Harisburg.
