Details:
On or about Saturday, May 29th, 2022, around 1:42 in the morning, a major two-vehicle car accident left a 17-year-old boy dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 225 in Pasadena, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 17-year-old David Bocanegra was killed when the vehicle he was in was allegedly struck head-on by a vehicle driving the wrong direction on Highway 225. Emergency responders pronounced Bocanegra dead of his injuries a short time after the collision, while two other people were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 225 cuts east and west through Pasadena.
