Details:
On or about Thursday, March 18th, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer rollover accident sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the NYSP said the accident was reported along Route 10 in Richmondville, New York.
Officials said David Brooks was injured when the 18-wheeler he was driving allegedly suffered a brake failure and crashed off the side of Route 10 near the exchange with Interstate 88. Emergency responders rushed Brooks to nearby Cobleskill Regional Hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
Route 10 and Interstate 88 intersect in northeast Richmondville, which is about 50 miles west of Albany, according to Google Maps.
State and local police assisted at the scene of the incident.
