On or about Monday, February 22nd, 2021, a serious accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left a 65-year-old man from Beach City dead. State Troopers said the accident was reported along Route 93 in Lawrence Township, Ohio.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department said 65-year-old David Miller was killed when his car allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that was backing across the roadway into a driveway. Emergency responders pronounced Miller dead of his injuries at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the crash.
According to Google Maps, Route 93 cuts north and south through the center of Lawrence Township, which is about 25 miles south of downtown Akron.
Police are still looking into the cause of the incident.
