Details:

53-Year-Old David Miranda was seriously injured in a collision involving a semi-truck while driving east along State Route 47 in Bellefontaine, IA. Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol say the incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Both vehicles were travelling east when Miranda, who was in the right lane, attempted to merge into the left lane. He collided with a semi-truck driven by Cody Weber, sending the Honda onto the side of the road. Miranda was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment, while Weber was uninjured in the crash. Investigation into the accident is ongoing.
