On or about Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, around 11:18 in the morning, a serious accident between a log truck and a motorcycle left a 69-year-old Florida man dead. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 27 in Warren County, Mississippi.
Officials from the Mississippi State Police said 69-year-old David Paxton was killed when the motorcycle he was driving and a log truck collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 27. Emergency responders pronounced Paxton dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Authorities identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Daniel Dee, who was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with Gibson Road.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
