Details:
On or about April 30th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left a 50-year-old man dead. Authorities from the NSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 in Sparks, Nevada.
Spokespeople from the Nevada State Police said 50-year-old David Salazar was killed when the motorcycle he was on and a tractor-trailer collided when the truck may have unexpectedly changed lanes and struck Salazar’s motorcycle. Paramedics pronounced Salazar dead of his injuries a short time after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they died at the scene or if he was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the exchange with Vista Boulevard.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
