On or about Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 40-year-old man dead. Authorities from the ASP said the accident was reported along Interstate 20 in St. Clair County, Alabama.
Troopers from the Alabama State Police said 40-year-old David Weatherspoon was killed when the vehicle he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down I-20. Emergency responders pronounced Weatherspoon dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the crash.
