Details:
On or about Friday, September 10th, 2021, around 9:52 in the morning, an accident between a DTA bus and a pedestrian left a 64-year-old man dead. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported in front o Dick’s Sporting Goods at Miller Hill Mall in Duluth, Minnesota.
Police said 64-year-old David Weston was killed when he was allegedly struck by a DTA bus that had just pulled away from the curb as he was crossing in front of the vehicle. Weston was pinned beneath the bus after he was hit and died of his injuries a short time after the incident.
Authorities have since identified the driver of the DTA bus as Crystal Veronica Ball, who was charged with criminal vehicular homicide in connection with the incident.
Multiple agencies assisted in the investigation.
