On or about Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021, around 4:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck, an SUV, and a tractor-trailer sent one woman to the hospital. Representatives from the ISP said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 15 in Pocatello, Idaho.
Investigators said 54-year-old Debbie Akers was injured when a northbound tractor-trailer allegedly drove through the median and struck her southbound Chevrolet Suburban. The tractor-trailer also struck a Ford Ranger driven by Clay Hirschi. Akers was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
Pocatello is located about 51 miles south of Idaho Falls, according to Google Maps.
Officers are still investigating the accident.
