On or about Sunday, October 11th, 2020, around 4:45 in the afternoon, a collision between a box truck and a car left a 60-year-old Springport resident dead. The accident happened at the intersection of M-99 and M-50 in Hamlin Township, Michigan.
Law enforcement spokespeople said that 60-year-old Debbie Ann Coffelt was killed when the car she was in and a box truck collided under unspecified conditions at the intersection. Paramedics pronounced Coffelt dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
