Details:
On or about Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, around 6:35 in the evening, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead and sent a woman to the hospital. Investigators from the FHP said the accident was reported along State Road 7 in Delray Beach, Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said 71-year-old Dennis Ferguson was killed and an as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when the car they were in allegedly collided with the side of a tractor-trailer along SR 7. Emergency responders pronounced Ferguson dead of his injuries after the accident, while a female passenger in the vehicle was rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Delray Beach is about 54 miles north of downtown Miami.
Police are still investigating.
